Call for Applications: Specialised Informatics Training on Advances and Techniques in Parasite Single-cell OMICS
The Department of Biochemistry and Systems Biology, in partnership with the Nicolai Lab, Department of Physiological Chemistry, Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU), and with funding support from the German Research Foundation (DFG), is pleased to announce a Specialized Informatics Training on: “Advances and Techniques in Parasite Single-cell OMICS”.
The training course will feature a combination of computational sessions and expert talks focused on:
- Cell to cell heterogeneity and its outcomes
- Analysis approaches for Trypanosome single cell datasets.
- Data visualization techniques suitable for publication
- Skills in grant writing
Date: 23rd-25th September 2025
Target participants: Postgraduate (MSc and PhD) students in the biomedical and data science fields
Training methods: Residential full day training with lectures and practical sessions
Workshop fee: Free
